
About
Christer de Silva is a Filipino researcher and designer who cares about making knowledge work differently. He is currently a PhD candidate at the UNESCO Chair in Science Communication for the Public Good, exploring the promises, perils, and possibilities of entangling epistemologies in engagement with science and technology. Christer’s design practice focuses on brand identity, visualisation, and editorial for research, education, small businesses, and nonprofits.

Before his doctoral studies, Christer engaged audiences by creating science exhibits, experiences, and media at museums and science centres across Asia-Pacific.
​
Christer was one of the residents in the prestigious Alexander Humboldt Foundation's Residency Programme in Germany in 2024.
